Dice: the clearest view of house edge
You pick a target between 2 and 98 and whether the roll must land over or under it. The win chance is the width of the green zone; the multiplier is 99 ÷ chance. At 50% chance you get 1.98× instead of the fair 2×; at 10% chance you get 9.9× instead of 10×. That missing 1% is the entire business model, and Dice is the only game that prints it on every bet.
Why start here
Ten minutes dragging this slider teaches the odds-versus-payout trade-off better than any article. Every other game — Crash, Roll, Plinko, cases — is the same trade dressed differently, usually with a larger edge and less transparency.
How is the Dice multiplier calculated?
99 divided by the win chance in percent. 50% chance → 1.98×, 25% → 3.96×, 1% → 99×.
Is 'roll over' better than 'roll under'?
No, they're symmetric. Over 50.5 and under 49.5 have identical chance and payout.
What's the max multiplier?
At the 2/98 limits the chance is 2%, so 49.5×. Real sites go to 0.01% chance and 9,900× — same formula.
Is this CSGORoll Dice?
It's a free copy of the format with the same 1% edge. Nothing here connects to a real account.
Dice — four things worth knowing
- Multiplier × chance always equals 99. Drag the slider and watch: the product never changes.
- Over and under are symmetric. There is no 'safer' side.
- Low chance / high multiplier bets take longer to converge to the −1% — a short session can look like anything.
- Dice is the cheapest game per coin wagered. If you are going to gamble anyway, this is the rational choice.
On the real sites
CSGORoll and Duel Dice use the same slider and the same 99 ÷ chance multiplier. Real sites allow far smaller chances (0.01%) and far larger multipliers. Codes: CSGORoll GETBOX, CSGOEmpire case2go, 500 CSMAX, Duel MAXRB, Thrill maxrakeback.
